South East Hub
The South East Hub is one element of Renaissance South East. It is a partnership between:
- Hampshire County Museums and Archives Service (lead Hub partner)
- The Royal Pavilion, Libraries and Museums, Brighton and Hove
- Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust
- Oxford University Museums
The South East Hub works closely together, with other partners in the region, to improve services to visitors, increase access to collections and enhance exhibitions and displays.
The four Hub partners hold a diverse range of objects, from the historic warships at Chatham to the minute specimens at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
Partnerships
Through working with MLA South East the Hub is also supporting the work of the sub-regional Museum Development Services to help those museums not in the Hub, through extending Museum Development Officer posts, providing free training and a small grants programme.
