Leisure and Tourism
Many pupils at Key Stage 4 look at the issue of tourism and its management at historic sites.
Museums can provide a case study for marketing and customer service.
At Explosion! the business services manager who has developed and implemented the marketing & customer service strategies leads the sessions. As a new museum attraction and millennium project which has moved from charitable status to Local Authority funding in its short life, Explosion! makes an excellent case study.
The Royal Pavilion at Brighton and the River and Rowing Museum at Henley also support Leisure and Tourism courses.
A local museum might be able to offer support to your school.
