Large Grants
New for 2008-09, Renaissance South East is running a one year large grants programme open to Accredited / Registered museums in the region. Five grants of up to £10,000 each are available to museums on a competative bid process.
Museums with annual visitor figures in excess of 50,000 are eligible to apply for a grant to support a project that falls into the following areas:
- Access, Learning and Audience Development
- Skills Development
- Planning and Accreditation
- Collections Management and Care
Large Grants will not fund:
- Projects falling outside the Renaissance priority areas, outlined above
- Organisations that are not Accredited / Registered
- Applications from museums with less that 50,000 annual visits
- Applications from South East Hub museums

The closing date for applications is Friday January 30th 2009. Applicants will be notified of their success or otherwise, six weeks from closing date.
