Leisure, Travel and Tourism
Many pupils for Key Stage 4 look at the issue of tourism and its management at historic sites. Museums can provide a case study for marketing and customer service.
At Explosion the business services manager who has developed and implemented the marketing and customer service strategies leads the sessions. As a new museum attraction and millennium project which has moved from charitable status to Local Authority funding in its short life, Explosion! makes an excellent case study.
